Meet Eqbal
A heart for care.
A faith-rooted approach.
My story, the experiences that shaped it, and the kind of support you’ll find here.
I’m Eqbal, a Registered Nurse with more than ten years of experience in emergency care, home health, case management, and telephonic care. That work placed me at the bedside of people during the most vulnerable moments of their lives, again and again.
Over time I began to notice a pattern. What people needed most was often something no chart or care plan could capture. Beneath the physical symptoms there was frequently a deeper ache: a soul searching for meaning in its suffering.
My own trials taught me this before my patients did. It was in hardship, not in ease, that I found my closest moments with Allah. That experience, together with years spent studying Islamic psychology and what our scholars have written about the heart, the soul, and the self, changed how I understand healing.
Today I bring the same whole-person attention I offered as a nurse into a different kind of care. I help women see their trials not as burdens to survive, but as mercy in disguise, drawing them closer to their Lord.
Together we work on strengthening your connection through salah, managing your time with intention, and learning to hold this dunya loosely, giving it only what it deserves, so that what remains is space for tranquility.
Part of my own journey included going to therapy myself, where my childhood experiences finally began to make sense. What I learned there is something I believe every adult needs to hear: each of us is walking around as a grown version of a child whose needs were either met or missed in a particular way. That isn’t our fault. But healing from it, and choosing to become better, is our responsibility. Seeking help isn’t weakness. It is part of honoring the trust Allah has placed in us over our own hearts.
I see myself as the middle ground. I am not a family member or friend who is too close to see clearly, and I am not a clinical therapist treating a diagnosis. I am here to help you look honestly at your hardship, reconnect it to your relationship with Allah, and move forward with clarity. When something falls beyond what mentorship can hold, I will tell you so, and I am glad to refer you to a trusted, women-only therapist when that is the support you need.
This is a women-only space. All sessions and consultations are held exclusively for women, and no men are present or permitted during meetings or sessions, in any capacity.
